Radiator
Radiator
The radiator acts as a heat exchanger. Coolant (a mixture of water and antifreeze) is pumped into the engine's channels to absorb the heat generated by fuel combustion. The hot coolant then travels to the radiator, where it passes through small fins designed to dissipate heat. As cool air (caused by the car's movement or a fan) flows over these fins, the coolant cools before returning to the engine to repeat the cycle.
